Ladylike Mission

Welcome to Ladylike Rules! Join the league of Ladies to learn the modern rules of etiquette and civil behavior. Etiquette has been taught for hundreds of years. Ladylike Rules is a modern and relevant approach to the traditional rules. You are either making your living in corporate America, or trying to get your foot in the door. You are either formally educated, or have a diploma in street smarts. Regardless of where you are, you can add classy, feminine, sophisticated and elegant to your profile. The best thing is, being a Lady is for every woman, of every background. Your age, credit score, weight, hair, religion, skin color, salary, marital status and kids, do not stop you from being a classy Lady, and being Ladylike.

Ladylike Rules will teach you how to improve your look, and create the best impression. It is important to act and look like you have class, to get the respect of coworkers, potential employers and clients. Everyone respects a Lady who respects herself. Classy behavior also gets you the admiration of friends, family and even strangers. Plus, every man loves a classy Lady. Act Like a Lady, be Ladylike.

Etiquette has always been my passion. Emily Post and Amy Vanderbilt are my heroes. You are probably asking, ‘Who?’….lol These ladies literally wrote the book about what to wear, how to act, what to say, what gift to buy, how to eat, handshakes versus kisses, and the list goes on and on. FYI, the books are huge, and I have already read them for you. You’re welcome! I am a professional in my field, however, etiquette has always been very important to me. I received my first lessons in etiquette at 10 years old. After that, I continued to read, study and keep up to date with the changes in the rules of etiquette. I love it!!

Yes, I am the one eating my BBQ ribs with a knife and fork. I also have more little black dresses than an Italian widow. My 'handwritten note' game needs improvement though.

There are a lot of truly refined, dignified, elegant, poised and accomplished Ladies of color. I believe they must be brought to the forefront and celebrated. Popular culture gives attention to real “housewives” and Instagram “models”. I want to have a conversation about real class and sophistication. I am here for you, even if you have never heard of etiquette. I am here for you to improve existing skills, or for when you need to prepare for an important occasion or meeting.
